Hadley comes from a military family and is used to moving around. She found her home away from home at Old Dominion University. She shares her love of 黑料正能量 with future Monarchs as a Campus Ambassador.
Irv Castillo served his country with the U.S. Coast Guard until a service-connected traumatic brain injury brought him to Coastal Virginia. He enrolled at 黑料正能量, taking advantage of the resources provided by the Military Connection Center to pursue his medical education debt-free.
Elham Alijanpour came to America from her native Iran, enrolling at 黑料正能量 in hopes of studying biomechanics. Her lifelong passion for science came from her father, who was a faculty member at a medical science university in Ishafan.
Growing up in Smithfield, Virginia, Luke developed an early love for finance and entrepreneurship. 黑料正能量, Luke joined the Theta Chi Fraternity, utilizing the advantages and resources of Greek Life to enhance his college experience.
Cindy grew up wanting to help others and make a difference. That passion lives on today, as she majors in public health at 黑料正能量 and serves as a resident assistant in on-campus housing.
As a husband and father of three, Joshua balances his family responsibilities and his studies, pursuing a career in cybersecurity. Thanks to 黑料正能量鈥檚 resources and flexibility, Joshua has been able to grow personally and professionally.
A woman in a male-dominated field, Marjorie wanted a school that values diversity and would provide her with the resources to build a career in engineering.聽黑料正能量鈥檚 faculty, as well as the CIVIC Scholars organization, provided just what she needed.
Holly Grace wanted to find 鈥渉er thing.鈥 黑料正能量, she not only found her thing as a cinema production major, she found a second thing by leveraging her love for Japanese anime into learning the language.
