Mark your calendars for Friday, Sept. 17, when the Center for Faculty Development launches its "Day of Teaching." The day will be devoted to face-to-face and online workshops and panel discussions about multiple kinds of pedagogies, strategies, and best practices for student success, along with helpful advice for faculty. See the list of topics below. We are currently organizing the schedule for each session. Time slots for the events will be announced soon.

The kickoff event for the Day of Teaching will be a panel focused on lessons learned from the pandemic. This is a face-to-face program requiring masks. Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Kate Hawkins will open the event, to be held in Multipurpose Room 1106 in the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies. An RSVP link will be sent out next week.
