Dr. Tian Luo is an Associate Professor in the Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) program at the Darden College of Education where she teaches graduate-level courses and conducts research studies related to IDT. Formerly, she had worked as an instructional design professional in both higher education and corporate settings. She currently serves as an Associate Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Information Technology Education: Research and Journal of Information Technology Education: Innovations in Practice. Her research interests center on using social media to facilitate student learning in both formal and informal contexts, and designing collaborative and authentic learning environments supported and enhanced by emerging technologies.
