The Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University's College of Arts and Letters and Pi Sigma Alpha will sponsor a virtual panel discussion about the presidential election on Oct. 29.

The event, which will be moderated by department Chair and Professor Jonathan Leib, is scheduled to run from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. at this Zoom .

Professors Michael Clemons, Nicole Hutton, Regina Karp, Michelle Kundmueller, Benjamin Melusky, Jesse Richman and Joshua Zingher will answer audience questions and discuss the following topics:

  • Predictions, polls and early voting.
  • The Electoral College.
  • Congress and the state legislatures.
  • Race and politics.
  • The consequences for the courts.
  • Foreign policy and environmental policy implications.
